At WispShot, your privacy is our top priority. We built our macOS utility with a Local-First Privacy architecture. This means your data stays on your device where it belongs.

1. Data We DO NOT Collect

We never collect, view, store, or upload your screenshots, screen recordings, annotations, or the text extracted via our OCR feature. All core functionality happens strictly locally on your macOS device.

2. Data We DO Collect

To provide you with our service (specifically authentication and licensing), we collect the bare minimum information required:

Account Information: Your email address and basic profile information provided during sign-up or via Google OAuth.
Billing Information: Your transaction IDs and license status. We do not store raw credit card numbers. Payments are securely processed by PayPal.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the WispShot web platform:

Supabase: For database management and secure user authentication.
PayPal: For processing payments for lifetime licenses.
Cloudflare Turnstile: For protecting our authentication forms from automated bots (collects standard browser/IP telemetry for verification only).
Vercel: For hosting our web dashboard.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal account data at any time. You can request complete account deletion by contacting us at the email below.
